What is covered in Extended Warranty ?

Extended warranty applies to eligible manufacturing/quality defects in key high-voltage EV components, as per program terms and eligibility. Coverage includes (eligible items may vary by model):

High Voltage Battery Eligible Parts

If your 2024 model year Deepal is currently insured with another insurance company and you want to purchase Extended Warranty:

  • Extended Warranty cannot be issued as a standalone policy - it must be issued along with Shikhar's Comprehensive Motor Policy
  • Shikhar Insurance may charge to enter into extended warranty cover additional premium for past years
  • To avail extended warranty benefits, it is mandatory to maintain both: Shikhar Comprehensive Motor Policy + Extended Warranty Policy continuously until the end of the total warranty period (Manufacturer Warranty + Extended Warranty)
